Isma: Revoke citizenship of MH370 critics
Aries46: I wonder in what capacity does Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia (Isma) issues this threat to revoke the citizenship of Malaysians who are ‘not in the same boat’ with the government on MH370.
Does Isma also propose punishment for the 52 percent of voters that are ‘not in the same boat’ with the Umno-BN regime?
The law that stipulates the revocation of one’s citizenship for whatever claims made by Isma is questionable, but Isma vice-president Abdul Rahman Mt Dali’s call to revoke citizenship borders on sedition. His use of religion to accentuate his twisted demands reflects poorly on him.
Moreover, Abdul Rahman’s fixation with Malaysiakini as ‘unfriendly’ belies a misplaced phobia of the latter.
For all his allegations Abdul Rahman has failed to articulate what it is exactly that he considers as unlawful or traitorous that justifies the ultimate punishment of banishment.
Quigonbond: Why bother trying this line when it never works to scare anyone, only inviting more resentment? Isma can never prove that the government is perfect in their investigation, communication and search of MH370.
Therefore, since the government is not perfect, it's natural there will be criticism. They should suck it up like grown men and improve themselves instead of blaming everyone else for their own weaknesses.
