Last-minute repairs delay MAS flight for four hours

London-bound Malaysia Airlines flight MH004 due to depart Kuala Lumpur this morning was delayed for four hours to make last minute repairs to the aircraft.
London-bound Malaysia Airlines flight MH004 due to depart Kuala Lumpur this morning was delayed for four hours to make last minute repairs to the aircraft.
"As safety of its passengers is utmost priority to the airline, this re-timing is necessary to facilitate rectification work on the aircraft," MAS said in statement today.
The flight was delayed from 10.10am to 2.15pm. It will now arrive in London at 8.25pm local time the same day.
"Malaysia Airlines regrets the inconvenience caused to our customers," it said.
This is the fourth mishap to hit the beleaguered airlines since the disappearance of MH370 on March 8.
Since then, one of its flights hit flying ducks in Kathmandu, another had to be rerouted from Seoul to Hong Kong due to technical fault and a minor fire broke out at its avionics shop in Subang.
