I refer to your report , 'Pak Lah told to clarify brother's MAS deal' and wish to commend the opposition for raising the question for public interest.

Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi (Pak Lah) certainly has to come out personally to clarify whether his brother's business involvement involves corruption, nepotism and cronyism. Otherwise, the people would lose confidence in him completely.

Although Pak Lah was appointed by Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad to be his successor, there is no reason whatsoever for us to agree with the judgement of Dr Mahathir. Malaysians must not tolerate any more politicians, however powerful, who practise or tolerate corruption, nepotism and cronyism.

We should press the issue until Pak Lah gives a satisfactory answer. Otherwise, Malaysia will go through another 18 years of continued decadence and corruption, until it is finally colonised again by foreign powers.

We must not forget that one of the most deadly weapons used by foreign powers to subjugate a country or a race is by secretly encouraging or tolerating corruption, nepotism and cronyism among native politicians in high places so as to weaken them and their people.

Politicians who practise corruption, cronyism and nepotism in the Islamic world have enabled Western powers to penetrate and recolonise the Ummah .
