Dangdut singer Rhoma Irama has become the most disliked presidency candidate among housewives in Indonesia, according to a national survey conducted by Charta Politika recently.

Only 1.8 percent of the respondents who comprised housewives would vote for the Indonesian dangdut king as president in the 2014 presidential elections (Pemilu).
According to Charta Politika president, Yunarto Wijaya, the survey showed that among housewives, Rhoma was the most hated candidate for the presidency.
The survey also showed that 38.6 percent of the housewives would vote for Joko Widodo, from Parti Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDI-P).
Popularly known as Jokowi, the governor of Jakarta was followed by Aburizal Bakrie from Parti Golkar (13.1 percent) and Prabowo Subianto from Partai Gerindra (11.4 percent).
The random survey involved 1,200 respondents from among eligible voters throughout Indonesia.
