Sarawak Chief Minister Adenan Satem has challenged Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim to sue him and the Sarawak government if the latter was unhappy that his party colleagues had been denied entry into the state.

Adenan ticked off Anwar for questioning the state’s decision as he (Anwar) was not barred from entering the state.  

“Sarawak does not need outsiders to interfere on its future direction and to come to the state to create trouble,” he said at a meet-the-people session at the Kampung Teh Hall in Mukah yesterday.

Sarawak denied entry to three PKR leaders, including secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution, who were deported back to Kuala Lumpur upon arrival at the Sibu airport on Tuesday.

Adenan, who is also Sarawak Barisan Nasional chairperson, said the state was peaceful while the people lived in harmony despite coming from different religious and ethnic backgrounds.
