I would like to congratulate Abdul Hamid Zainal Abidin on making the entire nation look foolish.

After the news of his dislike and subsequent rating of 'Bruce Almighty' as "not appropriate", he has succeeded in making Malaysia look like a backward little state that hasn't quite caught up with the real world.

After all, it takes some special effort to get something mentioned on Fark.com, namely, a exercise in mass stupidity or complete heroism. If you'll check that prestigious website (of which I am a member), you will find that it is not rated under the 'hero' category, but rather 'stupid'.

Mr Abdul Hamid, has it occurred to you that it is but a movie? That if Malaysians are honestly as strong in faith as you would hope, 'Bruce' cannot sway them? That people can tell the difference between a movie and reality?

Obviously, it has not, and now the entire world thinks of you as being incapable of differentiating between 90-minute comedy (I haven't seen the movie myself, so excuse me if I'm wrong on the time), and real religion.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe that anyone other than a few insane fanboys have started worshipping actors yet. You hardly have anything to worry about.
