Twelve family members of passengers on the missing Malaysian Airlines (MAS) MH370 arrived from China and then checked-in at the Cyberview Resort & Spa Hotel near Cyberjaya today.

According to a MAS personnel who declined to be identified, the family members are from Beijing, China, and taken to the hotel to be briefed on the latest developments on the search for the aircraft which went missing last Saturday.

A check by Bernama at the hotel lobby found a group of counsellors there to provide counselling service to the family members concerned.

MAS Flight MH370, carrying 227 passengers, including two infants, and 12 crew, went missing en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing about an hour after taking off from the KL International Airport at 12.41am Saturday. It should have landed in Beijing at 6.30am.

The aircraft was carrying passengers from 14 nationalities, with most of them from China and Malaysia.
