BN parliamentarians today launched an all out attack on Pakatan Rakyat for the latter's boycott of the Parliament session, by debating the matter among themselves after the question time in the morning.

Shahrir Samad (BN-Johor Bahru, left) started the topic when debating the King's speech and this led to other BN MPs taking turns to criticise Pakatan for being "immature" and "childish".

The criticism covered the Kajang by-election, Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim's Sodomy II conviction, and Pakatan's alleged failure to "separate court affairs and parliament affairs".

Pakatan decided to boycott today's session in protest against the executive and judiciary following Anwar's sodomy conviction last Friday.

Shahrir also later went on to "congratulate" Abdul Khalid Ibrahim for staying on as Selangor MB now that Anwar could not contest the Kajang by-election.

"I congratulate the MB for managing to keep his position," Shahrir said.

He was referring to the ‘Kajang Move’, engineered by PKR to allow Anwar to contest a state seat to possibly have him replace Khalid as the state's chief.

"Now we heard Khalid will contest for deputy president (of PKR). We wish him all the best and we wish PKR is transparent in its election, unlike DAP, which made an error despite so little votes to count," he said.

DAP has made an error during tabulation of votes during its its central executive committee election in December 2012, and as a result, it was ordered to hold fresh polls, which it did last September.
