Photos show Wee also shared stage with Perkasa

Rebutting MCA’s claim that it has no ties with Malay rights group Perkasa, PKR today showed more photos revealing MCA veep Chew Mei Fun had at least four times shared the same stage with Perkasa leaders.
According to PKR Kajang by-election vice-chief Elizabeth Wong, the photos found on Chew’s Facebook page show that Chew and MCA deputy president Wee Ka Siong were with Perkasa leaders at four events recently.
The said the Perkasa leaders are Negri Sembilan Perkasa chief Ruslan Kasim and Perkasa Islamic affairs bureau chief Shamsuddin Moner.
The date and location of the four events, as provided by Wong, are Cheras Kampung Batu 10 (Feb 28); Prima Saujana (March 1); Saujana Impian (March 1); and Cheras Batu 10 (March 3).
“The truth cannot be hidden. These photographs prove that Chew and Perkasa leaders spoke on the same stage at least four times.
“But what’s more shocking is, the photographs also show that even Wee was sharing the same stage with Perkasa leaders!” said Wong.
She said the pictures expose Chew as a “hypocritical, double-faced and zero integrity” leader.
“She colluded with Perkasa without hesitation to fish for Malay votes. This is double-faced. Her integrity is bankrupt and she has no morality to contest in the Kajang by-election,” said Wong, who is also a Selangor state executive councillor.
Chew is BN’s pick for the March 23 Kajang by-election. MCA and Perkasa do not get along with each other as MCA has always labelled the right-wing Malay group as “extremist”.
Pro-Pakatan Rakyat bloggers have revealed that Chew was found on the same stage with Ruslan.
Contacted by Malaysiakini on Wednesday, Ruslan confirmed that he was on stage with Chew at the event but said he was not there in his capacity as the Negri Sembilan Perkasa chief.
Meanwhile, Chew claimed she did not remember she was on the same stage with any Perkasa leader recently. Wee yesterday said the event Chew had gone to was organised by Umno but not Perkasa.
