The proposed National Harmony Bill is expected to be renamed to suit the offences that will be allocated under the bill.            
 
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Nancy Shukri said it would depend on feedback received by the government during discussions on the matter, with various quarters.        
 
"From the discussions that are being carried out currently, it seems this bill needs further review and may take time. This is because it is an important bill that forms the backbone for national unity and harmony," she told reporters after officiating the Legal Aid and MIC Women Bankruptcy Clinic at the MIC headquarters in KL today.  
 
On the forthcoming Dewan Rakyat sitting that is scheduled for next week, she said, one of the bills that will be presented this time was the Judges' Remuneration Bill that will see some increment in the terms of remuneration, pension and benefit.           
 
Earlier in her speech, Nancy said many are not aware that the Insolvency Department could provide counselling to those who wished to be freed from bankruptcy.
