Dr M afraid of 'immoral' Anwar becoming MB

Pemerhati: Former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad says that if PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim becomes MB, then the people will not feel safe because of his “immoral behaviour”.

He is obviously referring to the trumped-up Sodomy 1 and 2 charges masterminded by him and PM Najib Razak.

But Anwar was cleared by the Umno-controlled courts, which strongly indicates that the charges were baseless. But Mahathir and Najib are known for many types of immoral behaviour such as corruption and ill treating political opponents by using the lackey enforcement agencies and the judiciary to harass, physically harm or jail them.

They deliberately destroyed the high quality of the public service by putting stupid and corrupt people at the top so that they could be easily controlled and this enabled them to steal billions through corruption.

Consequently we have a useless police force. They cannot curb the rampant crime and the people do not feel safe, thanks to immoral Mahathir and Najib.

Ferdtan: Mahathir, our advice to you - relax. We know that the name of Anwar Ibrahim agitates you and causes you much anxiety. Your blood pressure will rise and it is not good for your heart.

Due to your advance age, your greatest fear should not be Anwar but the ‘grim reaper’ - the angel of death. Life is short. Stop your hate.

Why Mahathir, who had retired as PM for a decade, keeps on appearing in the news with matters regarding the issues of Kajang by-election where his arch-enemy is contesting?

This shows that he has completely no confidence with the present crop of Umno leaders, especially Najib.

The mere fact that even the shrewdest politicians the likes of Mahathir are so afraid of Anwar becoming MB of Selangor is telling.

Now we are completely convinced that the strategic Kajang move made by PKR to put its top leader as a candidate is a right one - with or without Anwar replacing Khalid Ibrahim as MB. First thing first - win Kajang by-election convincingly.

CQ Muar: Mahathir, if Anwar, who was your deputy PM with profound experience not qualified to be MB, how about your useless son who became Kedah MB out of the blue? Who then was responsible in installing him?

For your information, immorality is a matter of interpretation. In the West, kissing a dear one in public is a natural emotion and an expression of affection, whereas to you that's immoral.

You admitted forgetfulness due to old age, but able to recall Anwar's 'past' without a problem. Therefore, you're not only suffering from memory loss but your senility is getting the better of you.

Notwithstanding the above, we need to advise you to stop your vicious and senseless attack for your health's sake. You could be prone to another cardiovascular attack triggered by excitement, which can be lethal.

Whatsup: This old wily fox is definitely afraid and wetting his pants in his sleepless nights. He's afraid not for the Selangor people but for himself.

The impact must be very grave for his fox to come out and spew his hatred and lies every day. I’m very sure now, Anwar did the right thing and the heat is on the fox.

Anonymous #59879079: Can he last till March 23? I have not seen anyone so afraid.

Old Timer: Mahathir said, "Of course I am afraid (if he becomes MB)... People will not feel safe when he is around. Look what happened to his staff."

But we all know what happened to Sabah too, with citizenship given to illegals and they are now taking over Sabah from the natives.

Kingfisher: Considering what appears as Mahathir's often stated and obsessive reference to Anwar's moral standards, one cannot help but feel utterly sorry for Mahathir and consider him a pathetic and dismal figure in old age.

On another perspective, these categorical statements are disgusting. It’s sick, even for a man as influential as Mahathir.

WDA: It looks like PKR's master strategist, Rafizi Ramli, may have been very right about the 'Kajang Move' being a major game changer for Pakatan both at the state (Selangor) and federal level.

From the negative statements that Mahathir has been saying about Anwar almost on a daily basis, it is obvious that the former premier is super nervous about his former deputy becoming the next MB of Selangor.

The other day he said Anwar doesn't respect the law. Then he said Anwar is only a good talker but not a good leader. Yesterday, he hinted that Anwar was American friendly.

I can't wait to hear what he's going to say tomorrow. It looks like the former premier is going to have many sleepless nights until March 23, and most probably after that as the 'Kajang Move' takes shape.

NNFC: No matter what this old man says, there is very little trust that the people have for the current BN federal government. The people want change, and want an alternative government, no matter who leads it.

Paul Warren: If Anwar's only reason to want to be MB or PM is to unravel Mahathir's corruption and nothing else, I pray that Anwar will achieve that purpose. Hopefully he will do so while Mahathir is still alive.

Maharaja: How can sodomising a staff be more immoral than sodomising an entire nation? Dr M, with regards to immorality, I think you are 1,000 times worse.

Dr M should contest against Anwar in by-election
