KINIBIZ A year ago today, KiniBiz was officially launched to fill what its founders felt was a void in good and timely business journalism exemplified by independent, fair and unbiased reporting, in-depth and investigative analysis of major issues and events, and unflinching commentary.

Its founders said it has come some way to fulfilling those aims but, as always there is much more that can be done and it aimed to do just that as it moved forward, encouraged by readers’ response.

Said Premesh Chandran, KiniBiz’s CEO, “ We wondered whether we could transform business reporting, as we have done with politics. The team have some great stories, and we believe we can do even better. We’re well on the way to reach that goal.”

KiniBiz’s publisher and founding editor P Gunasegaram said, “Our editorial aims are clear - we want to be independent, investigative, insightful, and intrepid to tell the story the way it is, put the pieces together and make intelligent comments, which while injecting humour and satire, cut to the heart of the matter.
