Selangor BN has proposed to table a motion relating to the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) at the next state legislative assembly session in March.
They want the next state assembly to debate the recent PKNS issues.
Selangor BN has proposed to table a motion relating to the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) at the next state legislative assembly session in March.
Its chairperson Noh Omar said the motion was to urge the Special Select Committee on Competency, Accountability and Transparency (Selcat) to conduct an investigation into the management of the state government subsidiary.
“Selangor BN through Mohd Shamsuddin Lias (opposition leader in the state assembly) will table the motion for debate.
“The issue involving PKNS proves that the Pakatan Rakyat state government could freely do as they wished for their political and personal interests,” Noh told a news conference after opening the parent-teacher association’s 42nd AGM and presentation of the early education aid for 2014, Tanjong Karang, yesterday.
He was referring to Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy president Azmin Ali’s dismissal as a member of the PKNS board of directors and service termination of 22 contract employees of PKNS Holdings Sdn Bhd (PHSB).
Noh said Selangor BN had objected at a state assembly sitting in 2012 to the appointment of contract employees, but Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim had defended the move.
