MCA deputy president Wee Ka Siong did not urge Seputeh MP Teresa Kok to apologise for the 'Onederful Malaysia CNY 2014' video clip.

Wee said he asked Kok to be more sensitive and mature in discussing issues in public, as practised by the Chinese and the Muslims who asked for forgiveness during Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Bernama previously reported that Wee had urged Kok to apologise for the video clip at a Chinese New Year dinner organised by Sabah MCA on Sunday.

The video clip spread via YouTube showed Kok addressing guests at a function, and chiding the government over several issues, including the security in Sabah.
