Heres one from my heart on Anwar
My respond may seem a wee bit too late, but to keep it inside any longer I must not.
People like (Defense Minister) Najib Tun Razak, (Foreign Minister) Syed Hamid Albar and (Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister) Muhyiddin Yassin are examples of how their position and greed have overtaken their conscience and dignity.
How shallow they sounded when they lambasted the US government for its remarks on the Court of Appeal's decision in upholding for former deputy premier Anwar Ibrahim's High Court conviction.
Gentlemen, please ponder over these damning questions if you people are indeed men of honour, or rather, men of armour who would defend the country's honour:
1) Was it not government interference that found Anwar guilty long before he was brought to court?
2) Was it not government interference that 'excused' the prime minister and his cohorts from standing in the witness box?
3) Was it not government interference that allowed the AG's chamber to bargain with people's life and commit conspiracy over Anwar's alleged sexual encounters?
4) Was it not government interference that bailable offences became non-bailable?
5) Was it not government interference deprived Anwar of the police diary that recorded his whereabouts while he was the deputy prime minister?
6) Was it not the government interference that...
The list can go on and on and on. In the final analysis, gentlemen, you are in great positions but with have the greatest hypocrisy. Sometimes I feel so drained by your hypocrisy. May God have mercy over your tainted souls.
