The traffic flow from the national capital on the North-South Expressway (Plus) southbound is reported to be congested following the increase in the number of vehicles today, from 10am.
A Plus Expressway Berhad Traffic Control Centre spokesperson when contacted by Bernama said the traffic was congested from Nilai to Seremban following the surge in the number of vehicles.
“Northbound traffic is starting to slow down from Slim River to Sungkai, also due to the rising number of vehicles there,” he said.
Meanwhile, a Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesperson said traffic was smooth along the East Coast Highway and at the Gombak and Bentong toll plazas from both directions.
No accident was reported at the two highways.
For the latest information, motorists could contact the toll-free Plusline at 1800-88-0000 or LLM line 1800-88-7752 or surf www.twitter.com/plustrafik or www.twitter.com/11minfotrafik.
