PKR owes everyone an explanation, says Ambiga

Apa Nama: This strategy is more of a pre-emptive move which must be made at all cost, inclusive the so-called wasting public funds. I am not justifying this because it is PKR or Pakatan Rakyat.

But there should be something which we do not know yet. If Anwar could reduce the two-thirds majority of BN back in 2008 and 2013 GE with his strategies, I am confident that he should have a very good explanation for doing so now.

Before we hear from the horse’s mouth, let's not jump the gun.

Mr KJ John: Former Bersih co-coordinator S Ambiga, I fully agree! Please knock some sense into their heads - citizens are not idiots. The Kajang by-election is actually a waste of funds.

BeeC: I really cannot believe a lawyer-cum-Bersih leader could say this. Election is costly and a waste of public funds?

So, what is Bersih struggling for? A Bersih election system (which is very costly) or a cheap electoral system?

Senior Citizen: Ambiga gave her opinion as a fair-minded person. That’s okay. What I cannot bear to witness is for Anwar to have ordered the resignation of a duly elected state assemblyman. That is absolutely wrong.

I have always supported Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim but now I am having second thoughts about him. It’s sheer selfishness in failing to appreciate the good services of a proven leader like Abdul Khalid.

He has definitely embarrassed leaders like DAP leaders Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng. Don’t be surprised even if Karpal Singh may decide to abandon him. It’s a pity.

I expected Anwar to have intervened and stop the rot caused by the idiotic and cunning evil schemer like PKR deputy president Azmin Ali, whose only aim is to be the MB.

People are not fools. Do you expect people like Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad, Seputeh MP Teresa Kok and Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua to fall for this scheme?

Disappointed!: Anwar, let's not try to hoodwink your supporters and the public in general by playing with words. As your supporter, I am extremely disappointed with your actions.

We are not stupid. We voted for Pakatan not because they are full of "stars" but more for their promises of better policies which would benefit the people.

How can purposely creating a by-election be beneficial to the rakyat? Just as we have voted you in during GE13, we can also vote you out.

To show you that we should not be taken for granted, we shall teach you a lesson by voting for BN in the Kajang by-election.

Penang Lion: While the rakyat are very sad and concerned over BN government’s prices increase, our only hope is for Pakatan to work on how to help the rakyat.

But instead, PKR is making things worst by wasting the rakyat’s money and time just because of their internal party issues. I with my family and friends who are Pakatan supporters will not support Pakatan anymore.

To Pakatan, don't be arrogant as if you think a few of our votes are nothing to your party. To Anwar, we have no more trust in your leadership whereas we used to have high respect for you.

What more if Anwar is to be convicted for Sodomy II, then Selangor will be back to square one and the MB’s post will be free for all.

Idiot: PKR is becoming arrogant, very much like Umno. With this type of attitude, they can only dream of Putrajaya. Just image if they come to power, they will behave like "Ini dia punya bapak punya country (his father’s country)”.

Banyak Bodoh: I always thought I would support Pakatan but now it looks like Pakatan leaders are just as power crazy as BN leaders.

I shall be casting my vote against Pakatan unless they come up with a sane reason for this by-election being forced unto the rakyat.

Rajakera: Anwar owes nobody an explanation. It is internal party matter. But BN owes the rakyat an explanation on all the gerrymandered seats and the Election Commission (EC) on the voters roll.

Qmgang: We've come to a junction that we need to make a decision to resolve the struggle between Khalid and Azmin. There is no way for us to do it except by choosing Anwar. He is the only one who is generally accepted by both.

Yes, you may say that PKR is using state’s fund to settle their internal party matters, but don’t forget the big picture that all Malaysians expect to see - reformasi.

Getting into Putrajaya is the ultimate aim for us and Pakatan is the only choice for the time being. I strongly believe that this is a strategy to prepare the road for GE14.

Ambiga, I respect you as a civil society leader, but this is politics. I stand firm with PKR not because I'm a Pakatan supporter, but because I subscribe to the big picture.

Best to look at bigger picture on by-election
