Protesting is fine, but why the need for violence?

Hang Babeuf: Everybody should be very clear, have no illusions. This country is moving towards, and is now closely approaching, an outbreak of inter-religious and inter-ethnic warfare.
Inter-ethnic struggle turbocharged by religion, called in by some to "sacralise" (make sacred, holy) the struggle. It is time for people to come to their senses, pull back.
It is time for the government, the national leadership, the absentee-landlord PM to take the lead, to show good sense, judgement.
That is to say; to demonstrate the ability to recognise, calmly but persuasively to voice, and decisively to act upon the overall common national interest, not to play reckless partisan games - or to smile ineptly, pretending to be a detached and uninvolved bystander, while others who should know better do so, supposedly on the government's, the people's and the PM's behalf.
CiViC: Look at the difference when Pakatan and NGOs get together, compared to Umno and Perkasa. No wonder the inspector general of police (IGP) says there's no peace in rallies, his statement was obviously in reference to this sort, and at the same time he remains actionless when it comes to Umno and Perkasa.

Dont just talk: Malays are not stupid, but by behaving the way the handful of Umno Malays and Perkasa did, they behaved stupid.
Taking to the streets neither makes you a hero, neither does threatening other races with May 13 violence make you a champion of the Malay race.
Behave like the Pakatan Rakyat Malays and probably Umno can retake Penang and Selangor from them. How can Umno help their BN partners like MCA, Gerakan and MIC, when their members behave like bullies and clowns in full public view.

Malaysians, irrespective of race, have been making fun of the PM for his use of an ill-advised example. This had nothing to do with race. These extreme Umno or supposed Umno members are trying making this racial and are stupidly threatening other races.
Malaysians should stand united to ensure these trouble-seeking racists do not succeed.

Umno is continuously on the lookout for opportunities to start some sort of racial and religious tension so as to appear to be the champions of the Malay race and religion.
Umno thinks that this is the best way to regain the dwindling Malay support. But it is a dangerous strategy as it can easily get out of hand and lead to a bloodbath.
Labis Guy: Mr Prime Minister, sir, please act before it is too late. If you allow these people to demonstrate as they like, it is dangerous for the country. Eventually it will turn racial.
Kanasai: All these parasites need Umno to survive and they will do anything to initiate trouble to stay relevant. Most hard working and sensible Malaysians do not need Umno or kangkung ministers or government.
They created the Allah issue in Selangor and the kangkung issue in Penang. Now for a full frontal attack on all Pakatan states.
