We want to believe you but we can’t. Many times we had been fooled and lied to by the police. So what is one more?
If it is really true why did you decline to say when he was questioned and reveal further details on the matter?
For the many of Harussani’s transgressions in the past of the country’s laws, the police have never dared to act against this Umno-loving mufti, so IGP, what’s new?
In fact, we think that this Perak mufti is powerful enough to give the police his middle finger if he wants to.
IGP, even your wish for the ISA to be reinstated, you still cannot touch him. Obviously he has powerful Umno friends.
MA: This Perak mufti has committed a litany of misdeeds over the years. Wasn't this the man who said a church in Ipoh was converting Muslims by the hordes and eventually twisted the story to lay blame on a girl who sent the original SMS.
If you, IGP, add all this you can bring a lorry-load of cases against Harussani. Indeed, we should test the hudud laws on the mufti.
Ericlcc: If the mufti was really called in, it would have been a great PR (public relations) for the police, so why the silence? Unless there was really no investigation to begin with.

Hearty Malaysian: Khalid, you fell short of telling us what actions the police would take against the Perak mufti who propagated violence.
The public are still lacking in confidence in how police can cut down street crimes; we hardly see police presence on the street except those sitting in patrol cars.
How can they ensure laws and orders are enforced if they do not walk among the crowd? Can you control crime from a distance? You can’t combat street crime with ISA.

Negarawan: Harussani is not only giving a very bad and negative perception of Islam, but also a source of embarrassment for the Perak sultan.
A religious leader should be act and talk with humility and promote peace and understanding. The opposite is true with Harussani and there has been many previous instances where he attempted to instigate violence and bloodshed.
Concerned Public: Why is the Tuanku allowing the mufti to carry on behaving like this? I always thought that Perak royalty is progressive, fair and very well-educated.
Geronimo: When things start to heat up, these bozos like PAS ulama Harun Taib, always turn to the decision made by the Court of Appeals (COA) as an excuse to penalise the Christians.
The COA clearly states the ‘Allah’ word is banned only in The Herald publication. So what has it got to do with the Malay bibles? The more they speak, the more stupidity is being personified.

Where is their empathy, do they take the time to think - the Christians and Jews were calling God, Allah well before Islam, so how would you feel if they said, no, you can't call your God Allah? All Muslims would be outraged, wouldn't they?
