Pak Lah must handle triad politics complaint
The action or rather the non-action of Acting Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi who is also the home minister in handling the alleged triad politics in MCA by passing back Youth chief Ong Tee Keat's complaint to the party, is definitely wrong, unacceptable and improper. He should not have handed over to MCA president Dr Ling Liong Sik, the names of the two MCA leaders given by its Youth leader.
Since ong has already lodged a police report, Abdullah as home minister should have handled it himself rather than give the information to Ling whom everyone knows has been on Ong's tail for a long, long time.
As a concerned Malaysian, I view this a serious national issue - not a party issue, not an MCA or a BN issue - especially when a police report has been lodged and, who knows, ong's life could be at stake. I call on the home minister to look into this matter with utmost urgency.
