Opposition just as capable of governing

To the question whether Barisan Alternatif leaders are capable of taking over the federal
government (Strong opposition is good for Malaysia), let's remember that when PAS was part of Barisan Nasional, some of their leaders were cabinet ministers and high government officers. If I'm not mistaken, PAS vice-president Mustapha Ali was once a deputy minister.
The only reason why we may not feel comfortable with them now is perhaps due to the media portrayal of them as being incapable and good for nothing. The truth is, they are just as capable if not better than any of the BN leaders. More so now since more professionals have joined PAS and other BA parties.
I hope we're not being held hostage by the unfounded fears created by BN-abused print and electronic media.
Let's give BA a chance to prove themselves.
