Dont just rant, vote to end misery
apologist way off mark), Joe M Lee (Blinded by imbalance) and Santik (When shooting mouth off hurts) in response to Delimma's No apologies for the Malaysian way.
One common trait the three people have is their disappointment with Prime Minister
Dr Mahathir Mohamad's government and his style of evading issues with comments
that borders on stupidity. I agree with them and I did something about
it, i.e. I did not vote for BN in the last general election. Although the
candidate that I voted for lost by a wide margin (because I voted in a
predominantly Chinese constituency), I am satisfied that in a small way,
I showed BN that there are people opposed to their style of
governing.
Can I say the same for the three writers who slammed Delimma? I doubt it, because however much the non-Malays grumble, they end up voting BN, the reason being that they do not trust any other party, especially PAS.
Time and time again, after every by-election, BN will always thank
its non-Malay partners for their victories, because the party would have lost
without the solid non-Malay support. So for those who think they are
being victimised, isn't it time you took a bold step and try another
alternative? If Umno treats you so bad, how worse off will you be under
the opposition? Chances are, you will be treated much better by an
opposition who values your vote, rather than a party that takes you for
granted.
