Two Filipino security guards were today sentenced to a month’s jail each by the magistrate’s court in Petaling Jaya today for using fake identity cards as their personal identification document.

Totoh Sabatal, 40, and Yusri Sabiron, 41, were charged with committing the offence at the Bayan Villa, Guard House 2, Seri Kembangan at 1.15am today.

They were however charged in separate magistrate’s courts.

Totoh pleaded guilty before magistrate Ahmad Solihin Abdul Wahid, while Yusri did the same before magistrate KB Elena Hong Tze Lan.

Both magistrates ordered the accused to serve the jail sentence from today and for them to be deported to their country of origin after completing the sentence.

Totoh was charged with using a fake identity card with the name of Abdulzan Ludjuman, 43, as his personal identification document, while Yusri was charged with using a fake identity card with the name of Norazman Abdillah, 43, as his personal identification document.

Prosecuting officer from the National Registration Department, Zubaidah Zahol Ahmad, prosecuted in both the cases, while Totoh and Yusri were unrepresented.
