Remember Ibrahim Ali, the rhetoric champion of the Malays - he lost in a Malay area. Zulkifli Noordin had to beg for forgiveness when he stood in Shah Alam, not that he was sincere.

Your father was lucky. In those days, he got away because of the government-controlled mainstream news. The Indians backed P Uthayakumar to the hilt during the Hindraf rally but when he became extreme, he even lost his deposit in Taman Andalas.

Do you think Zahid would have won without the army votes? In his Bagan Datoh area, he was once well liked by the non-Malays, even during the days when Malays supported PAS and Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah but now most of them don't want to vote for him.

Unlike Najib who won back the lost support in his Pekan area, Zahid can never ever expect or hope to win the hearts of the non-Malays. I was told that they detest him so much that they knew that he could have won only with postal votes.

The MIC candidates lost because of Zahid's politics and extreme views. Now that he has become so extreme, his dossier has become thicker.

SPN: As a politician and supposedly an educated person, Mukhriz should be able to understand that in a democratic country, it is for the leader of the state to prove to the people whom he is serving that he will take care of them and not the other way round. Is this so difficult to fathom?

Their record of misusing racial and religious sentiments to solicit for support from one community by agitating racial and religious tensions that they have failed to behave and see themselves as Malaysians.

If anything, BN needs to prove they are taking care of the people to gain support, not the other way around. BN is voted in by less than half of the people of Malaysia. It's not a privilege bestowed by your father.

MCA defends Mukhriz's statement on Chinese schools

Hello: These MCA people still do not see the error of their ways, despite being shown to them in the GE13 elections.

They still persist to be shoe polishers to their Umno masters, as can be seen in what is being said now by party vice-president Chor Chee Heung in his defence of Mukhriz Mahathir on not entertaining aid to Chinese schools. I suppose he'll be rewarded by a ministership for this.

Hplooi: Whether Mukhriz meant it or not is not important. The very fact that he made such statement to a crowd of his constituent promotes the idea amongst his constituent that all, not of the same race as the constituent he claims to be championing, are not worthy of consideration and may even be (somehow) untrustworthy.

Instead of defending this despicable character you should impress upon him not to repeat such 'provocative-race-baiting' again.

Watchtower: It is clear. The MB said, the Malay are the majority in the state, that is given nothing to debate, but we talking about the need of the minority how can a MB be progressive if you don't want to consider the need of the minority, they have no voice, their needs are not important.

Please don't defend when there is nothing to defend. The statement and intention is very clear.

Onyourtoes: Chor Chee Heung, are you Mukhriz's press secretary? Why do you need to clarify for him? If his statement has been misquoted or misconstrued, it is for him to clarify.

There is no need for MCA leaders to run after him for clarification. Unwittingly, MCA has again shown its subservient DNA.
