Boycotting Coca-Cola or any American product by any minority group in Malaysia will not dent the economy of the United States. We are acting like some childish goons not realising that these US products are bottled by Malaysian groups employing locals who are mostly Malays, and presumably Muslims.

If the boycott were designed to dent the Yankees, it is the Malaysians, especially Malay-Muslim workers who are the majority workers who will suffer most. I am included in this group.

The organisers have a political agenda especially when elections are around the corner so that they could be spotted by the people in power and will be considered as candidates or will use this "influence" to get favours. Their so-called sentiments for Palestinians or the Muslims being emasculated has nothing to do with this so-called boycott to bring down the "neo-imperialist" Yankees to their knees.

These great heroes should, if I may suggest, get the like-minded groups all over the world to influence the US governments and their allies through lobbying in the corridors of power. They should also take initiatives to negotiate with the warring parties to have a short moratorium of non-violence to get a peaceful peace negotiation through.

If the boycott groups can do this, then they will surely impact the world rather than punching shadows and causing misery to innocent workers.
