To all malaysiakini detractors, I have only one question: Is any of the news reported not factual? And when on rare occasions they are not, did the website not correct the reports promptly?

When we examine the letters written by such detractors, we cannot find a single fact reported which they are refuting. This record alone is more than what mainstream newspapers can boast of.

Malaysiakini is only reporting the news; how can they help it if there are more bad news than good?

Please don't blame the messenger. Malaysiakini is not the cause of our country's woes.

If you don't agree with the opinions of some analyst or opinion writer, direct your criticisms at those opinions, not the analyst or the news website.

If you want healthy debates, bring on the facts, don't just hurl accusations.

They claim malaysiakini is promoting hatred and destructive criticism. In as much as publishing their letters they are right, for I find nothing constructive in their articles.
