Authors gain from our sorrow not right

I refer to Manjit Bhatia's letter BN hotheads botch objection to book. I think his statement of "What's completely illogical is the Malaysian
government moving so quickly to ban the book, and so inevitably fanning suspicions if indeed it has something to hide" is debatable.
It is possible that the government is just trying to prevent the writer from reaping financial rewards from making unfounded statements such as the one he has made. One man's gain is another man's sorrow and vice versa.
