As learned men, you should have studied the PCA in detail before voicing your opposition to it previously. No, as usual when it comes to the crunch, you don't have the dignity and fortitude to voice out your opposition.

And forget about MIC, as long as you give them cabinet positions, they will remain pussy cats.

MCA, Gerakan MPs slammed for being 'coffeeshop heroes'

Awakened: It doesn't come as a surprise to me that MCA, Gerakan and MIC MPs will toe the line when comes to voting in Parliament although they appear to make a lot of noise outside.

There was precedent set by them during the passing of the Official Secrets Act (OSA) proposed by former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad. When the OSA was proposed, DAP was the first to object that such a law will make many government transactions not transparent.

If I remembered correctly, MCA, MIC and Gerakan also made similar objections. But one day before the parliamentary sitting on the proposed OSA bill, Dr M gave a warning to all BN MPs to "vote at their own risk".

When it came to the actual voting, all BN MPs voted for the bill. So the next time you see BN components parties make noise outside, it is only for show or ‘wayang'.

Among the BN MPs, they will say, "Di luar kita wayang, di dalam kita satu hati," (outside we pretend, inside we stand as one).

Anonymous$&@?: MCA and Gerakan are just puppets in Umno's fold. The rakyat thought that these two parties would wise up after their respective defeats in the last GE but it looks like they are still chained to their necks by Umno.

If MCA or Gerakan think they can win the support of the non-Malay rakyat, they can forget it.

Jaguh: Taiping MP Nga Kor Ming, good try. You are talking to a brick wall; these MPs are there to serve as a lapdog in return for a ministerial post in the near future; you think they would risk their future fortunes for the rakyat?

Awakened: Nga, please tell us why only 66 out of 89 Pakatan MPs voted against the bill. What happened to the other 23? Did they ‘ponteng' (play truant)? If not, how many from Pakatan actually voted for the bill?

Besides hammering the MCA and Gerakan MPs, you should give some comments on the Pakatan MPs who are not doing their job.

Exranger: Hey Nga, I am a strong Pakatan supporter but where were the other 23 MPs? Come on, say something about them.

You too don't become a ‘pak turut' (yesman) and only know how to voice out the wrongdoings of the BN MPs but not the wrongdoings of Pakatan MPs.
