There was no document on the appointment of polling agents for the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) candidate at the Klias polling centre in the 13th general election (GE13), Election Commission (EC) Sabah director Md Idrus Ismail told the Election Court here today.

Opening an envelope containing documents relating to the election in the Klias constituency before Judge Yew Jen Kie, Md Idrus said the envelope did not contain Form A, which was the oath of secrecy form signed by the polling agents at the centre.
Petitioner Isnin Aliasnih who stood for the Barisan Nasional in the Klias constituency and lost to state PKR chairman Lajim Ukin by 179 votes is seeking to nullify the May 5 GE13 result for the seat.

Represented by counsel Muamar Julkarnain, Jaapar Esteban, Rizuan M Borhan and Saiful Azian Mokhtar, Isnin named Lajim as the respondent, citing corruption and use of campaign material without the printer's name.

The judge allowed Md Idrus to open the envelope to verify whether the polling agent's appointment letter and oath of secrecy form was under the name of Wong Kui En @ Norliah.
The individual's name had been brought up since the commencement of the petition hearing.

Norliah was claimed to be a polling agent for the PKR candidate and was alleged to have distributed envelopes to registered voters in the constituency, which were claimed to contain RM50 cash and a RM100 voucher that could be redeemed, should Lajim win the seat.

Lajim was represented in the petition by counsel Chau Chin Tang and Lawrence Thien.
