Serdang Hospital submits initial report on fallen ceiling

The initial report on the ceiling collapse incident at the Patient Admission Centre (PAC) of Serdang Hospital earlier yesterday has been submitted to the Health Ministry and the Selangor Health Department.
Serdang Hospital director Dr Ardi Awang in a statement says the collapsed ceiling involved a section measuring 8x12 square feet.
The initial report on the ceiling collapse incident at the Patient Admission Centre (PAC) of Serdang Hospital earlier yesterday has been submitted to the Health Ministry and the Selangor Health Department.
Serdang Hospital director Dr Ardi Awang in a statement said the collapsed ceiling involved a section measuring 8x12 sq ft.
During the 3am incident, eight patients and six staff members were in the area.
However, no casualties were reported and the service at the PAC continued as usual.
“Initial investigation has been carried out and the complete report has been submitted to the Health Ministry and Selangor Health Department for further action,” he added.
