I refer to CT Foo's letter Witless statement harming PAS, Anwar's cause.

I see nothing wrong with PAS Youth leader Mahfuz Omar's statement that US could have been behind the Bali bombings for it is perfectly plausible as far as I am concerned. If CT Foo has any conclusive evidence to refute this or as to who orchestrated the attack, then please disclose it. Otherwise it is best to remain open-minded as the evidence at present is not conclusive. Every opinion is valid.

To give credence to my argument, there is an article about what could have happened and may yet still happen on this site.

I am not a conspiracy theorist, just an open-minded and level-headed individual as one needs to be these days, otherwise we can all just believe what we are told by the government regarding ex-deputy premier Anwar Ibrahim's saga.

Whoever was responsible for the attack — one thing is certain — has certainly helped promote Washington's agenda on Indonesia where previously not much progress was made in the war on terror. The timing could not have been better.
