I refer to Kim Quek's letter Fear of PAS to justify BN's evil?

There are many other people who are against the present Barisan Nasional government, but are they active in joining the opposition parties and fighting for a true democracy? We will find them out there, anywhere and everywhere, but are they committed to the fight?

The writer is right that Malaysia is lucky that it has scraped by all this time in spite of the underlying racial disquiet  from the awareness that man is truly noble and free, with rights and responsibilities, that it is a sacrilege to abuse and denigrate any man or woman, to bind and restrict any man or woman without following the due process of just laws." (Emphasis mine.)

Is there justice and human rights in Terengganu when the hudud law that is proven worldwide to oppress the rights and freedom of women?

The final point in the Permatang Pauh Declaration says:

"We launch this reform movement as a peaceful movement, in accordance with the spirit of the constitution and in observance of the principles of the rule of law." (Emphasis mine.)

What peaceful movement? The intentions in the organised street riots and demonstrations were publicly stated when the Keadilan Youth leader Mohd Ezam Mohd Nor said, "We will continue to organise and hold street demonstrations, and if the government is toppled, so be it."

Is this peaceful?

How are they going to do things "in accordance with the spirit of the constitution", when the house's own 'constitution' is not adhered to and practised?

I have raised the same concerns earlier in my letter Lies, betrayals and sellouts, and I can continue further with a longer list of violations of the BA 'constitution' but let's move on the point I'm trying to raise.

Let's try to hear out what Tai is trying to say and read his tone.

Tai has spoken his mind about his displeasures with the present BN government and his disappointment with the opposition. But Tai has said clearly that he is looking for a choice but there's none available! Thus in a simple conclusion, Tai said that it is a choice between a lesser evil and a greater evil.

Is this not true? Are these not the real choices?

The opposition has been condemning the BN government of anything and everything, but is it providing solutions or offering themselves as a true viable alternative?

Sadly, no! Fact is, they have shown themselves to be worse than BN!
