Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate Aidilfitri tomorrow, the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal Syed Danial Syed Ahmad announced in Kuala Lumpur tonight.

The announcement was broadcast live by Radio Television Malaysia (RTM).

"In adherence to the command of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the consent of the rulers, I hereby declare that the date for Hari Raya Puasa (Aidilfitri) has been set for Thursday, Aug 8, 2013," he said.
