Tamil Malar, a popular Tamil daily, is to be published again for distribution in the Klang Valley from Saturday and nationwide, from Aug 17, and will have a business supplement as well.

Its executive director, Periasamy Munisamy, said today the newspaper, which was also popular in Singapore, had been given a new lease of life with a unique content and latest format to cater for people from all walks of life.

“It will be the only local Tamil newspaper to publish an eight-page business supplement,” he said in a statement.

The daily would also carry news on education, history and civilisation, youth, family and lifestyle, religion and philosophy, science, technology and innovation, entertainment and world affairs, he added.
