I am not a member of any political party, nor am I active in any political movement. I am just a registered voter in Malaysia who wants to have his say on PAS' member of parliament Mohamad Sabu.

He was recently in the limelight for the wrong reason and was alleged to have used harsh words on the country and Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

He has been like that as long as I can remember. To me, he is more like a comedian than a politician. That is how he attracts people to listen to him and makes himself seem so popular. I have attended one of his ceramah (public talks), and found him to be far from being an intelligent man.

The issues he harps on are not well-thought-out and all his claims, when belittling the leaders or the government, are not supported by facts and proof. He is only good at making people laugh at his antics and jokes.

People like him live in their own fantasy world. Voters like I — and the better educated Malaysians — do not buy their cheap acts. Their babbling and wannabe-bozo acts do not thrill us. Unfortunately illiterate villagers are amused by them and might even fall for their talk because of the Quranic verses used.

If people like Mat Sabu were to gain control of the country, may god have mercy and help us.
