There is no report of unhealthy air quality in the country at 9am today.

The Air Pollutant Index (API) in 19 areas was good while in 33 areas was moderate, according to the Department of Environment website.  

Based on the API, readings between 0-50 are categorised as good, 51 to 100 (moderate), 101-200 (unhealthy), 201 to 300 (very unhealthy), and 300 and above hazardous.  

The places with good air quality were Alor Setar (42), Jerantut (43), Perlis (45), Tawau (33) and Paka, Terengganu (40).

Moderate air quality was registered in Cheras (62), Port Klang (65), Perai (69), Seri Manjung, Perak (74) and Bukit Rambai, Malacca (72).
