Sex bloggers Alvin Tan and Vivian Lee will be slapped with three charges with regard to their Facebook posting, said Attorney-General Abdul Gani Patail.

NONE He told Berita Harian that the couple would be charged under the Sedition Act and also the Communication and Multimedia Act.

The pair would also face an alternative charge under Section 298 A of the Penal Code for causing disharmony, disunity or feelings of enmity hatred or ill will on grounds of religion.

"They will appear in court tomorrow (today) after the investigations with the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission which began on Monday is complete," said the AG.

Kuala Lumpur CID chief Ku Chin Wah was also quoted by the daily saying that the police had failed to contact them as the couple sent a text message that they would go to Bukit Aman.

He said that if they failed to appear, the police would issue a warrant of arrest.

The two are in hot soup following their posting on Facebook eating bak kut teh (pork soup) with the halal logo on Thursday.
