Poilce must stop trapping motorists
I was about 14 then, and riding pillion on my cousin's motorcycle to the Seremban town centre at 9pm. As we were coming to a junction, two policemen suddenly came out seemingly from nowhere and flashed their torchlights at us. Because of the suddenness of bright light shining on us, my cousin, instead of stopping, accelerated the motorcycle by accident. Without any warning, one of the policemen tried to hit my cousin with the torchlight he was carrying.
My cousin avoided the blow but it caught me on my face. Luckily, I was holding on to him quite securely and we managed to speed off. My nose was bleeding because of the blow and we went straight home. As I was young at the time, my cousin and I decided to keep the incident to ourselves.
However, when I read about this incident, it brought back some bad memories which I have about the police. I am a good citizen of this country and I expect the police force to protect citizens like me instead of running around abusing their powers and showing their arrogance. Please stop it!
