All BN leaders must denounce PMs racist remark

I refer to RC's call on Gerakan president to condemn the racist remark made by Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad by referring to non-Malays as "foreigners".
It is certainly the duty and responsibility of Dr Lim Keng Yaik who leads a multiethnic party to spearhead the condemnation. However, the leaders of the other component race-based parties in Barisan Nasional also share similar duty and responsibility.
MCA's Dr Ling Liong Sik and Lim Ah Lek, MIC's S Samy Vellu and others too must not keep silent on this because it reflects badly on BN as a whole.
Maybe they could issue a joint statement to ask the Umno president for a public apology, or expel Umno from the multiethnic BN. There is no place for racism in Malaysia.
