I refer to the article Past Puteri exco members blamed for expos on Azalina and would only like to add that maybe we are all missing the forest for the trees.

A pertinent question on the whole affair begs an immediate answer: Why is Umno Wanita strangely silent about the controversy? What happened to the kaum hawa (sorority spirit) thing? You would have thought 'big sister' would immediately jump to little puteri's defence at the slightest sniff of trouble.

Why did the older girls choose to keep quiet and maintain the 'little-girl-is-big-enough-to-take-care-of-herself' attitude? The silence only fuels the rumour that a big sister is behind the malice because she sees a threat to her own ambition in the rising star.

The whole mess also proves how nauseating Umno can get with its holier-than-thou attitude while shamelessly condoning favouritism, nespotism, cronyism and despotism.
