In support of Sylvestar Tan's letter No contest no solution, I suggest to him that he and his compatriots simulate an unofficial MCA election on the Internet. Since the list of candidates are already available, they should organise themselves and have a cyber vote to let the leadership know where the real power is from.

What the organisers of such a cyber vote should do is get an official list of the members with their identity cards and addresses, hire a third party like a big accounting firm to verify the members; nominations and voting can then be conducted using the IC. The vote will still not be official but should be reasonably accurate and serve its purpose.

While any vote will not be official, it will let the leadership know that they cannot behave like the repugnant pigs in George Orwells Animal Farm.
