Crackdown to impress Bush

I would like to respond to Pauls All's not well on the home front (April 19) and would like to add that the reason for the mass ISA arrests must surely be to impress President George W Bush, in case he is having second thoughts about keeping the appointment.
With certain parties trying to stop the US president from meeting our PM, the authorities are working overtime to ensure that the meeting is held as scheduled. Never mind whether the ISA arrests are justified or not.
The main thing is that our man would like to meet the most powerful person in the world. This would substantially raise Malaysia's image. These days, image is everything!
