In the interest of the nation, it is time that the Home Affairs Ministry withdrew all travel documents from these individuals on their return to the country, conduct in-depth investigations on the sources of their funding and support, and blacklist organisations who are positioned to continue such mischievous acts abroad, " was the writers last statement.

This is a violation of International Human Rights as set forth by the United Nations that all persons should enjoy the right to travel.

The reader failed to acknowledge that there have been at times abuses against the people by the authorities. The raping of detainees by the police and the numerous times they have pried money from traffic offenders.

On the same note, the ISA has been utilised at times for unstated reasons.

People should have the right to voice their opinions. If a country has nothing to hide, then let a person make their stand and remarks, and allow the country to combat those remarks if they are not true.

The Israeli government has barred journalist from reporting what they are doing in Palestine and many Malaysians feel that this was done to cover up what they are doing. Is it not the same then to suggest that passports of those who comment badly about Malaysia be seized.

Malaysia is a great country with many great achievements that should not be overlooked but this does not justify or excuse certain practices.

If a man gives money to charity and is well liked by the community, yet kills or harms another, should he go unpunished?

America always lashes out at others on the human rights accord but America has also been blasted many times  domestically and internationally for the same reason.

But it does not try to silence the people, instead it listens, opens debate, and investigates.
