I am a Malaysian expatriate in Hong Kong. I love HK for its freedom of speech.

As a Malaysian, I remain concerned over the political situation in Malaysia. I love reading malaysiakini as it is one of the very few newspapers that "dare to speak out".

I have been reading a lot of news on MCAs factional fights between Team A and Team B recently. Before that, I was very angry that MCA bought over Nanyang Press Holdings, which was against the wish of the Chinese Malaysians.

I notice that the consequences of such a takeover have become obvious with the reports on the MCA squabbles. It was obvious that the mainstream press was on Team As side.

I wish that malaysiakini can highlight the consequences of the takeover more because we can no longer depend on Nanyang and China Press for impartial news. I feel Chinese Malaysians should continue to boycott these papers.
