It is infuriating when men choose to make rules and lecture women on what's best for women. Yes, the writer In defence of scarlet women is right about one thing, there are fewer good men around!

Heres another man professing to know what's best for women. There is nothing wrong with my argument against polygamy. What remains is — polygamy which the writer envisions encourages infidelity and a host of other unforeseen problems.

A woman shares a man! Perhaps men really do not see the bigger picture, but when a woman shares a man, equality is pushed a step further and women will continue to be a rung below. I do not see how polygamy can solve a problem aside from the legality issue.

If, as the writer says, women are becoming more educated, do you think they will agree to share a man? By all means, if a women chooses to share her husband with another female, who are we as the public to forbid her.

Maybe this is the polygamy the writer is talking about, terrible as it sounds. Allowing a man to poligamise is for the brain-dead. There should be a better alternative than coming to such a pathetic wits end.
