Tomorrow, keep an eye on suspicious voters
YOURSAY ‘If those allegations were true, this must be the biggest airlift of people from East Malaysia to the peninsula in our history.'
PKR: PM's Office linked to flying in dubious voters
Cala: About 40,500 foreigners flown in from East Malaysia to vote in peninsular Malaysia - this is a mega-bomb which has exploded in the face of caretaker Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
Tellingly, Najib is not going to be a lamb waiting to be slaughtered come tomorrow. It appears that he is a lot more prepared than former PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
The unprincipled Najib resorts to open bribing of voters through various means (book vouchers to university students, cash to primary school students, etc), and worse still, bringing in foreigners to vote. Morality means nothing to Najib.
Mahashitla: This must be the biggest airlift of people from East Malaysia to the peninsula in our history to save BN, if those allegations were true.
Mahathir's Project IC is now being replicated to steal Selangor and GE13 right under the very nose of the rakyat.
This is going to incur the wrath of the rakyat. We want a clean and fair election to elect a government and not one which is based on Project IC and double voting.
Appum: Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad will say that because most genuine Malaysians do not support BN, and thus BN has no choice but to give ICs (identity cards) and the right to vote to these foreigners.
It makes a mockery of a democratic election process. Using foreigners to win an election is treason. Najib, when can we hear from you on this matter?
RR: This is a very serious charge. But expect EC chairperson Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof to flatly deny this.
If this complicity is proven, all those involved should be given life sentences, including the top police officers involved in this conspiracy as this is tantamount to treason.
Anonymous1000: Now with all the fraud happening, Malaysians who like to see their voice heard in this political process should be advised by electoral reforms pressure group Bersih and the opposition on what to do.
All these revelations are fine but how do we prevent the fraud from happening? What is the role of ordinary citizens to see the voting process is not being hijacked?
Anonymous #03216792: Here's how to prevent fraud - Malaysians who are fit, should stay at the polling stations and keep an eye for foreigners or army personnel, if yes, then point them out to the party representatives so that the party reps can take further action.
Also watch for busloads of people arriving to vote. Parties will not hire buses to ferry people to the polling station, only private vehicles.
Hmmmmmmmm: I guess we should do like what the NGO Asalkan Bukan Umno (ABU) suggests, that is to mill around your polling centre after voting.
If there are a lot of people in the vicinity, it will be hard for them to bring in large numbers of illegal voters without being detected.
Even to transport these people will be hard because it will be hard for the buses to stop nearby with so many people around.
Unless of course they are able to go in through the back doors. Special attention should be on Selangor and Johor in seats such as Lembah Pantai and Gelang Patah.
Boycott MSM: PKR should immediately hire private investigators and station them at the airport to video and photograph this. There may also be volunteers and information leaked out from within Malaysia Airlines (MAS).
Immigration director and the inspector-general of police should resign immediately if this is true.
Rakyat Malaysia: Here is the evident - It is real thing man, the BN government is selling out our own country to the Bangladeshis, Indonesians and Filipinos! See with your own eyes in Sarawak Report.
Dhammika: Pakatan has to be quick to ascertain if that is true and if so to lodge a case with the EC and perhaps to hold back the elections until the foreigners are flushed out. The electoral roll has to be checked again.
Wanderer: Are we going to allow illegal foreigner votes to determine our future and destiny?
Malaysians, if you keep quiet and allow this illegal process to be successfully implemented by the politicians from Umno, we will put ourselves in troubled waters. Malaysia will not be the same again.
Hplooi: Is this just the beginning of the nightmare for the nation? A stolen election? Every vote counts to counter these imported voters. Right-minded Malaysians, expect every patriotic citizens to do his/her duty tomorrow.
Jedi_Who: What's worse is that they will probably have police escort to the polling station.
Only a massive turnout can mitigate illegal voters
