You can tell when the prime minister is annoyed with something or somebody. His contemptuous remarks about how incompetent and irrelevant the Malay Muslims of this country are is reminiscent of his past attacks on financier George Soros and the Jews during the Asian financial meltdown.

And who could forget his attacks on some members of the US Congress who voiced their concern over the treatment of Anwar Ibrahim. They were said to be ignorant and unqualified as members of Congress.

For once, I would like to hear the prime minister admitting to his own failures and stop blaming others.

If the Malay Muslims are incompetent, then, the fault lies squarely at Umno's doorsteps for no other political party has been in power for the past 44 years.

For a political party that goes around boasting as the champion of Ketuanan Melayu, it has done nothing but produce corrupt Malay Muslim politicians and Malay Muslim tycoons the likes of Halim Saad and Tajuddin Ramli, who knew naught of running business empires.

I don't have to tell you what happened to Renong and MAS. Both companies are still struggling under a heavy debt burden.

Could it be that the prime minister is annoyed with the Malay Muslims in his own circle; because I can tell you, Mr Prime Minister, Malay Muslims like me are doing very well, thank you! Gee, could it be that its because I'm living outside my own country?

There are many Malay Muslims who would, given the chance, do very well living outside of their country where they are free to live to their full potential without fear and discrimination.

It's ironic that when it is the election season, the same Malay Muslims that the prime minister referred to as incompetent and irrelevant would be duped into returning Umno leaders to power. That'sthe only time when Malay Muslims would become relevant and competent to Umno.

Well, this writer is one Malay Muslim vote that Umno will never be able to get. It's simple  simply by not voting for them. Im one proud Malay Muslim.
