Waiting for real action by Rais
I also support the call by fellow letter-writer Paul Leong that the London-based Economist magazine be sued as well for suggesting that the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), or parts of it, were constructed by Osama bin Laden's family business.
However, instead of suing the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Rais should sue the office of President of the United States of America because FBI is under the control of the White House.
Moreover, Rais should not forget that he has promised us to bring the United States to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for bombing Afghanistan in defiance of the international law on wars and armed conflicts. I hope the highly qualified doctor of law will not disappoint Malaysians and the entire Third and Islamic worlds.
Last but not least, Rais should also bring the United States to the ICJ for maltreating the prisoners of war (POW) it captured from Afghanistan.
Under the leadership of Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysia must continue to be the voice for global injustices. In the person of Rais Yatim who is well trained in law, Malaysians should not be disappointed. We are waiting for action - real action!
