Lahad Datu assemblyperson Datu Nasrun Datu Mansur reportedly wants PKR vice-president Tian Chua blacklisted from entering Sabah for allegedly implicating Umno in the security incidents there.

"Outsiders may not know what the situation here is like. But the fact is that we are worried day and night about the situation in Kampung Tanduo and other affected areas in Felda Sahabat," he was quoted in the English-language daily the New Straits Times today.

NONEThe Suluk community leader reportedly said this after lodging a police report against the Batu MP at the Lahad Datu police station yesterday.

Tian Chua (right), whose real name is Chua Tian Chang, reportedly told PKR party organ Keadilan Daily on March 1 morning that the Lahad Datu incident was an Umno conspiracy meant to divert attention away from the ongoing royal commission of inquiry (RCI) on allegations of a citizenship-for-votes scheme.

He has since clarified that he was referring to the media blackout surrounding the incident, since there were no confirmation of any attack or casualties.

The morning of March 1 was the day when the first shootout occurred in the Lahad Datu standoff, leaving two police commandoes and 12 intruders dead.

Tian Chua's statement has since drawn hundreds of police reports and several protests, where he has been painted as dishonouring the fallen officers.
