A spoof photograph showing a man turning into a skeleton as he waits for Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to dissolve Parliament has gone viral on the Internet.
Najib, who saw the funny side of the photograph, said it was shown to him by 1Malaysia People's Housing Project (PR1MA) chairperson Jamaluddin Jarjis during a meeting with the Negri Sembilan BN grassroots yesterday.
According to Sin Chew Daily , Najib shared the photograph, stored in his mobile phone, with other BN leaders including Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Mohamad Hassan, Dewan Negara president Abu Zahar Nika Ujang and Information, Communications and Culture Minister Rais Yatim.
All of them laughed after seeing the skeleton sitting on a chair with a caption that says, " tunggu Najib bubar parlimen... " (waiting for Najib to dissolve Parliament).
The Chinese daily reported that Mohamad, in his speech during the launching of PR1MA in Seremban, had 'complained' to Najib that people were tired of waiting for the general election, including himself.
"If this is a football match, it has now entered extra time. However, we will continue to wait until victory," Mohamad was quoted as saying.
Najib later replied that the government wanted the national transformation policy to be truly proven successful to show that the people were fully benefiting from it before he calls the 13th general election.
